Boveda Hygro-Pack 62% humidity
The Boveda Hygro-Packs have been specially developed for storing dried herbs. The ingenious technology keeps the relative humidity at a constant 62%. The special feature of the Boveda technology is that the humidity is corrected in both directions.
The Boveda Hygro-Packs are particularly easy to use. The Hygro-Pack is simply placed in the container in which you store your herbs and automatically regulates the humidity to the ideal value of 62%.
By storing with Boveda Packs, you not only extend the life of your herbs, but also improve their natural flavor. Storage under the right conditions leads to a maturing process that can improve the taste and effect. Another advantage of the Boveda technology is that the packs only increase the humidity up to the specified 62% – this ensures that no mold can form!
The Boveda Packs work particularly well in combination with a high-quality herb humidor, such as the CVault.
Application of Boveda Hygro-Packs
The manufacturer recommends slightly over-drying your herbs before storing them with Boveda Packs. Please keep the paper packaging of the Boveda Packs closed! Fresh Boveda Packs feel soft, as soon as your Boveda Pack feels firm, it is no longer functional and you should replace it. In the first few days you should open the container with the Boveda Pack regularly to activate the Boveda Pack. The container can then remain closed for months.
- 4g Boveda for containers with up to 15g herbs
- 8g Boveda for containers with up to 30g herbs
- 67g Boveda for containers with up to 500g herbs
- 320g Boveda for containers with up to 2.5kg of herbs
Boveda is touch-safe for cannabis.
First take a Boveda packet out of the resealable plastic bag and then reseal the bag. Then simply place the packet in your cannabis jar or cannabis bag. Put the lid back on the jar or seal the bag to make it airtight. That’s it!
Boveda 62% RH works automatically; you do not need to activate the pack. If the environment in the container is dry, it releases moisture. If it is damp, the pack absorbs moisture.
Do not mix Boveda RH values in the same container and do not use Boveda in the same container with other humidification products. They have a mutual effect and reduce the effectiveness of the Boveda.
LIFESPAN:
In an airtight container: 2 to 4 months (or less, depending on the moisture content of the flower, how often the container is opened and storage conditions)
Unopened packaging: Up to 2 years
Boveda still works if you have the feeling:
- Hardening at the corners
- Soft spots between some hard areas
Boveda has expired when:
- The entire package feels stable throughout.
ACCURACY:
In an airtight environment, all Boveda are accurate to +/- 2% of the RH printed on the pack.
